Cultural Assets Survey

Working with ABQ Cultural Services and Creative ABQ,  our team is conducting a survey of the Southeast Corridor and Near Northeast Heights (see Google map, and image below) for the City of Albuquerque. The goal is to gain a better understanding of the area’s cultural resources, and to identify local residents’ interests, priorities, and preferences regarding the arts and culture in the Southeast Corridor and Near Northeast Heights.

This project will provide the City with information and reference materials for long-term cultural planning in the SE Corridor and Near NE Heights. Data gathered in this survey will help the City to develop benchmarks for internal and national comparisons, and will support community-driven, economically-sound strategic planning for the arts and culture. In the long run, we hope that our model of cultural assets inventory and mapping will be successfully replicated in other neighborhoods and city districts, paving the way for a place-based City-wide Cultural Plan.

The survey will remain open until July 11.
